My poetry

I have to find all of my good ones :\

So for now, deal with this.


He drifts around the barren desert,
bringing life upon the earth.
He has his own routine; all he does
is plant seeds into the dirt.
I asked him why he does this deed,
and interestingly enough,
he does it for the third-world people
with lives that are painfully tough.
I had no clue how planting trees
could ease their boring, harsh lives.
Then he told me, quick as can be,
“Would you give them a tree or give them a knife?”
Twenty years later, that old planter died,
and I realized what he had aimed for.
so on his grave, inspired I wrote,
“Bringer of Peace, Destroyer of War.”
This man grew very famous
throughout the desert land.
The natives tried to finish his quest,
planting trees and giving each other a hand.

It could be worse, but overall its quite nice.
