| Here is a description of the first cutscene of the game. - Spoiler:
Space
Metaknight is seen gliding with intense speed through the sky. The background is speedily collapsing into swirls of dark colors, in a rough vertical line behind him. MK speeds up, but the Darkness is increasing speeding up behind him. He breaks supersonic, and his mask flies off into the Darkness. It merges with the swirls and colors, and is gone. MK stops quickly and throws Galaxia into the LOD. Galaxia emits a bright light and the Darkness disperses. MK glides away, as you see the Darkness start forming up again.
MK lands on Popstar, in Green Greens.
Planet View
On the opposite face of the planet, a dark purple stream of light crashes in to planet. A dark shock waves engulfs the planet as in slowly goes dark, starting from the Impact Site.
Green Greens is devastated, and all covered in the Darkness. MK flies over to the Impact Site, and flies into the swirling mass of Darkness himself. He is then dissolved into the Darkness.
Planet View
A bright pink glow is emitted from the Impact Site, as a pink shockwave engulfs the planet, canceling out the Darkness.
Images of the Popstar left devastated from the first shock wave.
