| It's not consistent. In some characters, they have black outlines and some don't. And sometimes they have a black outline on those characters and sometimes don't. It's very inconsistent. | |

Yes they are. They're JUS in the same theory that those "new" TLOK sprites that Deux made months ago are. They follow all of the perennial dictums of the style while going just outside the lines, almost a modded JUS if you will. Each sprite has a 3-4 color shading pattern with a near-universal light source in a pattern so unreadable it's easier to just randomly shade in areas until it looks good enough, with an outline, albeit being pure black, is a shade or separate color that distinguishes not only the outline from the entire body, but parts of the body from other parts, or clothing. In addition, there is no absolute rule in JUS that every attack needs to have the specialized kind of motion blur that regularly appear, but the altered state of "anime physics" applies in JUS, allowing for rapid and nonsensical motions presented at viewable speeds. However, if we would convert our style to any of these new styles, we could just edit our sheets into a new style, thereby making the process much better, would it not? | |

Well, depends on what flavor you choose. The only real thing that makes it easier is that we already have good enough anatomy and motion blurs that we just have to up the style, and that alone can be a problem. | |
