The Earth Swordsman

Daichi has bailed out on making Daichi. So unless someone wants to continue him, we need to make a new one. What I was thinking was that he would be an evil swordsman, seeing as we don't have an evil swordsman, this could make things more interesting. So, this new swordsman would need a completely new back story and a new sprite. So, what opinions do you guys have?

Ooh, I'll have to give it a go. I can easily think of some good swordsman ideas.

Also, we don't necessarily have to throw out the backstory.

Why has Daichi bailed out?

I would, but most people who joined the contest never even finished their own creations, and it's been a year already since then.

I would do an earth swordsman but earth is my least favorite element.

And I don't do men.

An evil swordswoman isn't a bad idea, actually...

I might come up with something, but I lost all (5) of my flash drives so getting from my computer (work computer) to the school's (internet access) could prove hard.

Y'know my track record for finishing spritesheets is pretty bad so it might not be a good idea for me to take this up...

We could always use an existing character sprite and work off of it.

Plus there is the existing earth character on the Big Snow sheet.

I was thinking an idea of an evil chick earth person would be awesome.

We could use the Evil Squirrel Angelis idea I poasted a While ago.

I wanted a squirrel angelis to be good.

Angelis, Furred-Squirrel, Earth, Male
An odd boy of unknown origin.
Able to stealthily move from place to place, he has been sought out by people all over the world for recruitment as a spy.
However, he prefers his life as a thief.
He cannot wield a sword, or for that matter, much anything, save for knives, but he can use powerful earth magic to move stone and return life to dead plants. He can also control roots of plants as well as vines to help him escape from his enemies.

You could just change the weapon info to be more suited to the character.

Or alrernatively:

A rabbit Angelis capable of running and jumping at high speeds. Though he appears to be a child, he is actually around 80 years old and is quite angered when others treat him like a kid. Because he lives away from society, he doesn’t know much about people from outside and is quite naïve because of it. His conduct is also quite unbefitting as he acts on emotions rather than deep thought, most likely due to life without laws. This is extremely problematic as he is entering puberty and his out-of-control hormones can often let his emotions reach ridiculous peaks.

Angelis, Furred-Squirrel, Earth, Female

A seemingly young girl from the desert.
Her skill as a tactician surpasses most others, her only rival being a book-bound archer by the name of Gallifrey.
Her cold hearted nature is often hidden behind her fake and manipulative outward kindness.
Though she acts nice and seems to love others, in reality she despises most and would readily and easily kill them with no hesitation.
He physical weakness is overshadowed by her ability to move and manipulate stone.

Now how can they fit into the story?

Tell me which you prefer and I'll come up with the how they fit in.

Well,for the first guy, you could have it that nergal had the earth sword in his possesion, and that he stole it from Nergal.
When he does so can change depending on when you want to introduce the character.

You could say he steals it now, and that one of the men with brine is holding onto it, allowing for a distraction to brines men and giving korah and snow more time to fight back in a losing situation.
Then, he doesn't have to appear again until you want him to.
The idea is that he should appear when he Steals the sword from someone else.

As for the Rabbit, he could have found it at random in the forest where he lives, and during a complete misunderstaning between him and Korah, namely Korah mistaking him for a kid, of course, he goes ballistic and tries to defeat Korah revealing that he has the earth sword, however hillarity ensues, rather than an epic battle.
This occurs shortly before Deux joining the group.

As for the last one, she could have already had the sword, and gets introduced at the same time as Angell and Gallifrey. [ provided of course you continue to follow the scars storyline.]
If to follow this path, it would happen very shortly after the Night Hawk Saga begins, right after Snow dies.

I would probably like that last one the best. Anyone else agrees or disagrees?
