Dragonball Evolution...

This movie...disappoints me.

I've known from the start that the story was going to be changed, characters didn't look like character, etc.
But here's the thing. The actors actually acted like some of the DB character. Goku acted like Goku with his akwardness and his sense of humor, Piccolo was a lot like Piccolo, Master Roshi had his pervertedness, Gohan did his teaching thing, Yamcha kinda acted like him. Bulma did not act like Bulma, though. The fighting was really cool and so were the special effects. But the story was so rushed! Half way through the movie, I was like "Hey, this ain't half bad. Characters act like themselves, the story is changed, but no biggy." Then, it went from an okay to movie to "WTF ITS OVER ALREADY? FAIL." The plot moved so quickly it was impossible to keep up, and there was so many lose ends and unexplained mishaps that you're just like, "WTF happened to this this and that?"

Goku never went to school, I just think the idea altogether was headed for the fail-train.

Well obviously things changed. Just think about it. How would they shoot a movie with a 9 year old kid in the middle of the forest all the way up to the fight with Piccolo in less than 2 hours?

Its just like what they with Eragon.
they ruined something great by messing up the concept.

I just hate the idea all together.
Goku still better be a saiyan.

It's not as hard as it looks like... a good writter could have done it in a couple of minutes... maybe half hour with flashbacks.

The movie starts with goku fighting with picollo, and then goku has flashbacks of the whole story.
Up to the point everything is explained, the story can continue.

That way, you could avoid changin THAT much of the story.

It seems that you didn't understand what I wrote :

1º Piccolo versus goku, begging of the battle

2º goku flash backs of everything that happened before the battle

3º the battle continues, a lot of shit happens.

4º sequel, about super sayians.

Lol, I saw like a minute of this movie today. All I saw was Yamcha lying on the ground, and Piccolo (without antennas) fighting some other dude with really good special effects. Is this what the whole move is like?
