Is this a good game idea?

Well when I graduate from college, I hope to become a video game designer and own my company,
If I get lucky of course, what kind of games.

Linear free roam perspective with huge world to explore.

Now I have many idea for games I amy want to create in the near future, but here are 2 off the top of my head.

The first takes place 100 millions years before human times, and yes there is dinosaurs, because you'll be playing as one.
a Velcioraptor be exact, and whats your goal,
survive from infant to adult and take enemies 3 times your size down.
The story mode is just growing from infant to childhood.
and if survive enough you van form your own pack to aid you in battle.
and It'll probaly be rated m for vioence.

next has more fantasy but more along the same lines,
You play as a Dragon, possibly the last of your kind, so your goal is to survive human kind and avenge your race.

I put more thought into the first one.

Great to see I'm not the only one with such dreams.

But I've got plenty of back-up things that I hope to be able to fall back on at any time, in case something bad happens.

Anyways, I like the idea of the dragon game, but I'm not a big fan of the dinosaur game. It may just be me. Not saying it'd totally suck, I'm most likely just choosing off of preference.

The first one sounds pretty origional.

Yep,
Linear is the way to go.

In the hame where your a raptor, there' no dialogue,
just a box,
and tons of carnage.

Personally, I prefer animation. That's what I'm aiming for.

You guys already know what I'm doing.

As for the idea, I wouldn't mind the first idea, but it kind of reminds me of that game with the spider and the scorpion.

I think so.

Sounds badass, I'd most likely buy it. Either one, but it all depends on how well it's done.
