World Map of Terra Altsoba

Each nation's name is there for a reason, and each represent different races we have today.

Structure is as the following

Name of Location

Meaning: The meaning of the name (Language it originates from)
Race: The race that is known today
Description: Short description and its importance to TLOK.


Terra Altsoba

Meaning: Earth (Latin) at War (NAm.-Indian---Navajo)
Race: Humans
Description: The world in which The Legend of Korah takes place. A very awful place full of wars, disasters and evil. However, there is hope for the world and it relies on the 8 magical Soul Blades.


Konas

Meaning: Leader of the world (Hawaiian)
Race: White (Evil)
Description: Nergal's kingdom, the largest nation of the planet. He is in control of it all, however does not cover more than 50% of the planet. Wants to concur the entire planet

Tatius
Meaning: Ruler or Leader (Latin)
Race: White (Evil)
Description: King Nergal's last name, which is his Capital City, Tatius. Where his castle is located. Also placed in the center of the World to represent it as the most important place in TLOK.


Alkas

Meaning: Scared, frightened
Race: Native American
Description: A peaceful nation tending to stay away from wars, however struggles to maintain their land from Kona. Used to own the whole Northern part of the continent, but was taken away from them by Kona. The reason it still remains is due to the river that divides them from the rest of the continent.


Eldon

Meaning: "From the Holy Hill" (Old-English)
Race: White (Holy)
Description: A holy country filled with holy people. Atempted to create world peace through treaties, however failed when Nergal's reign began.


Hideaki

Meaning: Wise, Clever (Old-English)
Race: White (Good)
Description: Very small, yet powerful and rich nation. Helped defend other countries in need and is in good relations with all nations except the Konas.


Hermosa

Meaning: Beautiful (Spanish)
Race: Hispanic
Description: A decent sized nation full of beautiful people however suffers corruption in their leaders.

Rich Port
Meaning: Puerto Rico (Spanish)
Race: Puerto Rican
Description: Korah's home country. Often used as a port for its neighboring countries. Originally owned by Hermosa, but halfway tooken over by Kona.


Akira

Meaning: Intelligence, smart (Japanesse)
Race: Asian
Description: An intelligent nation full of new grasps of technology. Half the country is controlled by Mercanaries (sp?) and their soldiers and weapons are often sold to the country with the highest bider, which is usually Kona.


Manuetoafa

Meaning: Bird in the desert (Polynesian)
Race: Middle Eastern
Description: Where the Angelis used to live, however slaughtered during the Angelis hunts. The once beautiful land is now just a large desert filled with people that moved from Kerani.

Angelis Island

Meaning: Unkown
Race: Angelis
Description: Where the remaining Angelis live. Mostly unknown to the world.


Ekon

Meaning: Strong (Nigerian)
Race: African
Description: An extremely large nation with a large population and great land, however is often in war within itself. Seperated from Kona by large mountain ranges.


Sula

Meaning: Large sea bird
Race: Alaskan/Esikmo
Description: Often isolated from the rest of the world, not much is known about them. They tend to stay neutral and do not concern themselves with other nation's affairs.


Kerani

Meaning: Sacred bells (Hindu)
Race: Indian
Description: Participated largely in the Angelis hunts and firmly believed in the magic and power of their bodies.

Also, what's up with including "latin american", "whites", "african" and stuff in population? ...

It looks pretty similar to the real world, and that kind of kills the "mystic" atmosphere.

By the way, if anyone wants to know, the NeoDammeranian city is beneath the waters between the central and southern continents.

Now, I'm not against of using black/asian/latin american people. (I also hate what you said)...
what I said is that I found the fact that each continent has it's race an "atmosphere killer".

Dividing the world up by race... Now that I think on it is kind of... eh...

By the way, although I haven't posted the update yet, which I will sometime soon, there are more remaining species than human.

Most of which I came up with before writing scars but don't make an appearance till the end of the story.

For example:
The Gasen, which is basically like a centaur, only rather than being a horse for the lower half, it is a lion.
It is a half lion half man instead... Yay!

In the story korah aids the Gasen by setting them free. Many have been put to work as slaves by Nergal, for their impressive strength.

Only one white nation is evil, the other two are good.

I just posted the place topic that will, when finished, include all towns and places.

What about Leon's race? It's not mentioned anywhere. He doesn't look like an Angelis, either.

To tell you the truth, that is actually the problem with this map.

It doesn't include other races.

In Leon's case he comes from the western edge of the central continent, in a large mountain range. But you know that already.

I could add a type of mystical creature to each nation if you wish, I just need to know them all.

Ah, ok...

A shortlist of all creatures:

Tomenai - Gnome like creatures who live their whole lives under a body covering shroud. The only visible part of them is their glowing golden eyes.

Gasen - Half Lion, Half Man. Think Centaur.

Hemadrake - Blood sucking dragon.

Kaiser Dragon - Smaller, red version of the Czar dragon.

Occurian - Ancestor of Humans, lives in large cities on the eastern continent.

Farguine - Forest Dwelling Gnome.

Centaurs - You know what a centaur is, half horse, half man.

Aegyl - Men with wings. Quite simple. They only live for 50 years at max.

Scenen - A subsection of humans, who display qualities of animals to such an extent that they appear to be anthropomorphic animals.

I'll add each race to the content a bit later. Too lazy, atm.

I love it! Kona should be a golden color because right now it looks too much like Hermosa. And I don't like flat the bottom of Ekon is (although I made the same mistake too). Make it less flat.

Of course, colors are just done that way because it is a map... right??

Each nation should be a different color so that way you know what's what.
