Here's my idea for Eriko, her backstory.

It began as any other day his name was Kaizer, he was mid-age man, who had lost his wife and daughter to a house fire.
Now he lived his life in sorrow, mourning their deaths.
He thought about this as he went hunting for his daily meat, carrying his bow and arrows across his back.
He walked into the forest, but as he hiked throught the woods, he heard a faint sound, the faint sound crying.
he ran to where he heard the sound.
the sound came louder, till he came across some bushes, he moved them aside to find a young babe wrapped in rags.

He gently picked up the child and held her in his arms.
the young baby girl stopped her crying and drifted to sleep in his arms.
me moved some of the rags aside to reveal that this girl had the ears and tails of a wolf

He thought for a moment.
"I'll name you Eriko, my sweet child." He said, he adopted her and know his mind was on something more joyous.

How's that?

Eriko grew up with some diffuculty, she had to wear bandages around her head to hide her ears, and had to hide her tail in the same around her waist.
The kids made fun of her for this.
But she was also the strongest of her school, so the kids were terrified of her too.
15 years later
One day,
a group of men came into town, wearing suits of metal similar to this.

lead by a mid-aged man with grey wavy hair and an eye patch.

I like it. If she goes to jail, I have an idea on what should happen to her. That general that GSU made could be in that jail with her. GSU's Angelis chooses to go to the "dark side" and Eriko chooses the "right side."
