Tekken VS Virtua Fighter?

According the Tekken project director, Haruki Suzaki, this is something that they'd like to try. Now, any game with Tekken gameplay is a win in my book, but, I haven't played VF and know absolutely nothing about it...If this happens, which I hope it does, I'm definitely buying it. HOWEVER, what is your opinion about this?
Good idea?
Bad idea?
Would you buy it?
Tekken > VF or Tekken < VF?

It's okay when Capcom does it, cause they're like, the best and was their idea. MK Vs DC was great too, but if everyone is going to do it, it's going to become lame. I personally am not a fan of tekken anyways.

Well, this seems like a good idea because, from what I've seen...
VF came out a year before Tekken and everyone baws about how it's a ripoff, yet the diehard Tekken fans say "FUCK NO BITCH, TEKKEN > VF" also, the gameplay is very similar and I bet there are lots of people who are foaming over this.
Both are good games and have been in a war for last few years, I am certain that this would go well.

It is a rip off of Virtua Fighter....

It's not, everyone says that because it came out before Tekken. But I am DAMN SURE that Tekken is more original. Also, by that logic, Fighter's Destiny is also a ripoff.

And it's not even that. VF is way more fun, IMO.

Fighters Destiny, a fighting game made for N64. Possibly the best fighting game on that console.
I've never played VF, so I wouldn't know

Wait...

I just had the greatest idea... Why don't they make an E.V.E. for every console!
You could go online and download characters from different companies... like mugen...
Only problem is they'd probably make it suck by extorting it or making the characters cost money.
