First song - Turn it On
Your sound is kinda classic feeling.
I like the groove of the bass.
This reaaallly reminds me of the "Beat Crusaders" when they worked on the Beck Albums.
Spice of Life and Like a Foojin come to mind as really familiar feels and I absolutely love you guys for that.

That said, the vocals really aren't doing it for me.
They feel a lot less involved and the track feels a whole lot less cohesive than it should because of it.

Moving into Backstabber, the Genre and overall sound is once again, much like the Beat Crusaders and their Beck work.

The vocal work on this one is much better. I still think it could use a lot more passion cause it feels really out of the fire.
This is a song that really portrays a feeling of a lot of blood heat. Its really good production value but its once again falling short in the vocals.

The idea is there but the heart doesn't seem to follow through and that bothers me quite a bit.

Disregarding the vocals this is easily one of the best songs I've heard this year.
The composition is great.
The passion just isn't there.

The vocalist needs to let out some of the fire in his belly.

"Lies" starts off great and convinced me that this awesome sound style of yours isn't unique to one song.
The vocals in this are SO much better.

It really feels like the style of "Endless Travelling Map." Rhythmically for the vocals and that really does me good.

I could really get into your stuff, you guys are nearly spot on to an amazing untouchable sound.

"Where it Lays."
Is easily my favourite track on the album.
The vocals are a lot cleaner and feel very close tied with the song. Still a little bit awkward at times but unlike in the other songs, it works 100% with this.
I absolutely love this one and its really not one I can criticise too much if any at all.

The Guitar riff is magic. Just lettin you know.

"Simple to Be There."
I like this one too but for really different reasons from "Where it Lays."
This song is a lot cleaner than the other songs on the album and its radio chart material.
This is the stuff I expect to hear on the radio, where as "Where it Lays" is the stuff I'd actually listen to in leisure.
The Lyrics themselves are a tad strange to me.

I have no major dislikes or issues with this one save for it being abhorrently short.

I think you really have something here and it could be fantastic.
But you guys need to work at it.

When we were writing Turn It On we wanted the song to be something you can dance too and get into rhythmically rather than actual vocal involvement if that makes any sense! >.<
That explains the very funk influence(aside from RHCP) and groove from the bass. That's why we also thought of the little section of the song right before the solo with the "Bom shicka bom" to add more sound rather than actual involvement with lyrics. With the people here in Miami not everyone speaks English so we didn't want to change the language but we stuck to our style and made it so that lyrics didn't really have to play a major role in the song.
That way people who don't speak English can still jam out and have fun to this funky danceable song as well as people who can speak it. This song is also a little Miami representation in a way..Other than this though i agree with you!

But i understand where you are coming from.

Backstabber:
Can't argue there lol we switch singers between songs btw our drummer/my brother is doing the vocals for Turn It On,Simple To Be There, and Where It Lays...where i do the vocals for Backstabber,Lies, and backup for Where It Lays.
With that said hearing Backstabber live you can definitely feel the amount emotion of the song that is missing in the recording compared to the live version of the song! Next time we record i assure you the fire will be let out!

Simple To Be There:
Originally this song was pointlessly long...This song went thru so much change while recording but in the end it was for the better. I think this song also matches with what Kevin our drummer/singer wanted something simple,short, and straight to the point...The lyrics at first were confusing but he explained it in his way and it made sense after.

We actually have a lot more ready for recording in the start of 2012 so with that said expect more music from us next year! We've worked on what you said and we've gained a bit more experience in the studio. For example usually the drummer sings while he plays so it was hard for him to adapt after he got used to playing and singing. A bit easier for me but once again first time recording in an actual studio.

I'm glad you liked our stuff and took the time to review it...it really means a lot.
With that said we will always continue to work on our material and continue to improve!
With a little text teaser the new songs on the next release will contain more "Beat Crusaders" sound as well as more melodic material like "Where It Lays" and "Simple To Be There".

The live events on our YouTube page show us limited with the small stage but with a much bigger stage like we have had in the past you can see all the emotion and enjoyment from us and the crowd while playing!

Ever see a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert? If you haven't check one out preferably Slane Castle (My favorite) and that's basically act on stage! We don't have a front-man and have no interest in getting one after countless front men we have had..This is just 3 people and i say we sound pretty good for what we have!
