| Yeah, it's an okay movie. Low budget, but it has some decent actors in it. It starts off well enough -- 5 criminals reunite to rob a bank. Here's the catch -- vampirism is thrown into the mix. - Spoiler:
So, anyway, 4 of the guys turn into vampires and they get into a shootout out in front of the bank.
You think that would be the highlight of the movie, but that's actually when it starts to suck big time. I blame christian influence. Every time someone pulls a cross they start reeling from it like poison, but it's not just a silver cross. It's anything shaped like a cross. - Spoiler:
At one point, the guy just rips off two sticks from the towel rack in the bathroom, forms a cross and keeps them back with it until he gets out of the bank. Earlier, the first guy to get bit is reeling from the vault door because it looks like a cross. When the shootout is going on, they just absorb all the bullets shot at them, and it doesn't hurt them at all. What does hurt them? One of the officers is standing behind an ambulance, and all he did to stay alive was shut the damn door, because it had the red cross on the back. They even repelled the vampires by putting together their nightsticks and shotguns to make crosses. Another stupid thing is that if they even touch anything silver they die.
Fucking retarded, according to this movie I could keep a vampire back by making a cross with my fingers and keeping them back with my water bottle. And of course, typically, the bible repels them. Absolutely killed it at the end with all the christian imagery and superstitious crap. The first half is good, but the end is really good for a cheap laugh. | |
